Objectives of Governing body

  1. The Institute has been set up with a mission to impart Quality Education necessary for the holistic development of students thereby making them capable of being better employable and the part with the highly competitivejob market.
  2. The Institute undertakes the development of student simultaneously oncurricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  3. The curriculum issuch that it enhances and strengthens the fundamental and conceptualknowledge base of students.
  4. The co-curricular activities are mainlyfocused on bridging the gap between the academic and Industrialexpectations.
  5. The institute equips young learners by inculcating ethics and leadership potential. It also sensitizes learners towards inclusive social concerns,human rights, gender and environmental issues.
  6. The institute is equipped with the clear perspective plans for future development and strategies to maintain competitive edge in imparting quality education.

Roles of Governance

  1. To monitor and evaluate the teaching programs in the college and suggest remedial measures, to improve the academic performance to confirm to the standard of teaching and the progress of studies in the college as laid down by the University.
  2. To monitor faculty deployment and development, placement and industry institute interaction activities in the institute / college and suggest remedial measures wherever necessary.
  3. To approve yearly budget and to sanction budgets for major purchases of the institute.
  4. To accord approval for appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff required for smooth functioning of the academics.
  5. To appoint the Principal / Director, the teaching and non-teaching staff on the recommendations of the selection committees constituted under the relevant regulations of the University.
  6. To perform such other duties and exercise such other powers as may be entrusted by the management and the University.
